It' getting good now
I'm getting pretty excited. The priest just hit LVL 20 and although that doesn't seem like a mile stone to some, for those of us who were there for vinilla we remember it as quite the mile stone.
Now as cool as it is to have the mount to ride about, the far more fun thing for me is that I am actually sticking to this project, this is farther than many of my alts have made it over the years and I am about 99.99% sure this is the high priest I have ever had.
The experience is definitely a fun one. More updates to come soon!

Sadness
I'm starting to see why Night Elves and Worgen come to other starting areas to quest. Between Gilneas and Darkshore I'm one My Chemical Roman song away from depression.
I'm currently level 16 - have 69 quests to go in Darkshore and this rainy, dreary scenery is enough to weigh you down emotionally.
Hopefully I can smash throught this place and the next one is better, need some nice scenery and sunshine in my life. LOL.
Did get a wicked screeny though.

15 LVLs of reflection
We are now 15 LVLs in & it's time to reflect.
We are now LVL 15 - which I believe may be close to the longest I have ever stuck with a priest. Im not sure if its the challenge that is doing it or if I'm just generally enjoying myself, but I am having a really good time with this.
Currently the play time is a little slow at 5:10:42 but I'm really taking my time, not only with questing and taking breaks to spend time with my family but I'm also reading the storylines a lot more than I usually would and I think that is helping with my attachment to the character.
We still have a long way to go and I am wanting some feed back about what spec would be best for quest leveling. I am thinking Disc but I still want some points of view.

In the begining...
This blog exists to catalog a project I am working on that will start today. Since I began playing warcraft in 2006 I have had doznes of chars and builds but not a big variation in classes, or at least not many that made it very long.
Now, being honest, I have no earthly idea how many priests I have tried to make but I do know its by far the least likely I have ever given a real chance.
The 9th priest project is going to catalog my journey to level a priest without BOA, without dungeons, pure questing with maybe a dash of BGs.
So what makes my challenge different from others?
Nothing!
This challenge isn't about being entertaining, although I hope that it is, it is about me branching out and having a great time with hopes of creating a following of people who enjoy the game, enjoy that I am putting this challenge out for myself, and maybe want to throw in a comment here and there.
The blog will be referenced by my twitter account in hopes of generating views (@warcraftproject).
So how do we decde what priest to make. Easy. We gamble.
Now Priests are availble as:
Alliance
Human / Dwarf / Night Elf / Gnome / Draenei / Worgen
Horde
Undead / Tauren / Troll / Blood Elf / Goblin
We will gamble by using the timeless tradition, the humbling coin flip, if it's good enough for the NFL its good enough for me. You will notice I have left out Pandaren because I am only using those direct affiliation races.
Best two out of three for faction. Heads (Horde) Tails (Alliance) - chosen by my wife
Results: Tails / Heads / Tails = Goodbye Horde
Stage 1: 1 flip elimination
Human v. Dwarf - Dwarf
Night Elf v. Gnome - Gnome
Draenei v. Worgen - Worgen
Stage 2:
Dwarf v. Gnome - Dwarf
Dwarf v. Worgen - Worgen
Gnome v. Dwarf - Gnome
Gnome v. Worgen - Gnome
Worgen v. Dwarf - Worgen
Worgen v. Gnome - Gnome
Stage 3:
Worgen and Gnome won the most so in the finale they will go 6 out of 10 to see which I will play
1. Gnome
2. Worgen
3. Worgen
4. Gnome
5. Worgen
6. Worgen
7. Worgen
8. Worgen
9. N/A
10. N/A
Worgen it is!!!!!!! Unexpected since Gnome beat worgen 1-on-1 both times in the earlier round.
