This blog exists to catalog a project I am working on that will start today. Since I began playing warcraft in 2006 I have had doznes of chars and builds but not a big variation in classes, or at least not many that made it very long.
Now, being honest, I have no earthly idea how many priests I have tried to make but I do know its by far the least likely I have ever given a real chance.
The 9th priest project is going to catalog my journey to level a priest without BOA, without dungeons, pure questing with maybe a dash of BGs.
So what makes my challenge different from others?
Nothing!
This challenge isn't about being entertaining, although I hope that it is, it is about me branching out and having a great time with hopes of creating a following of people who enjoy the game, enjoy that I am putting this challenge out for myself, and maybe want to throw in a comment here and there.
The blog will be referenced by my twitter account in hopes of generating views (@warcraftproject).
So how do we decde what priest to make. Easy. We gamble.
Now Priests are availble as:
Alliance
Human / Dwarf / Night Elf / Gnome / Draenei / Worgen
Horde
Undead / Tauren / Troll / Blood Elf / Goblin
We will gamble by using the timeless tradition, the humbling coin flip, if it's good enough for the NFL its good enough for me. You will notice I have left out Pandaren because I am only using those direct affiliation races.
Best two out of three for faction. Heads (Horde) Tails (Alliance) - chosen by my wife
Results: Tails / Heads / Tails = Goodbye Horde
Stage 1: 1 flip elimination
Human v. Dwarf - Dwarf
Night Elf v. Gnome - Gnome
Draenei v. Worgen - Worgen
Stage 2:
Dwarf v. Gnome - Dwarf
Dwarf v. Worgen - Worgen
Gnome v. Dwarf - Gnome
Gnome v. Worgen - Gnome
Worgen v. Dwarf - Worgen
Worgen v. Gnome - Gnome
Stage 3:
Worgen and Gnome won the most so in the finale they will go 6 out of 10 to see which I will play
1. Gnome
2. Worgen
3. Worgen
4. Gnome
5. Worgen
6. Worgen
7. Worgen
8. Worgen
9. N/A
10. N/A
Worgen it is!!!!!!! Unexpected since Gnome beat worgen 1-on-1 both times in the earlier round.
